Terms of service.

1. Introduction 

These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of J’adore Catering services, located at 57b Addison road Manly NSW. 

2. Booking and Deposit 

  • Booking Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once a deposit of 50% of the total estimated cost is received. 

  • Deposit: Deposits are non-refundable and must be paid within 6 days of the booking confirmation. 

3. Payments 

  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 3 days before the event. 

  • Late Payments: Late payments may incur additional charges. 

4. Cancellations and Refunds 

  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made in writing. 

  • More than 6 days before the event: 50% refund. 

  • Less than 3 days before the event: no refund. 

  • Postponement: Postponements may be subject to availability and additional charges. 

5. Changes to Booking 

  • Menu Changes: Any changes to the menu must be made at least 5 days before the event. 

  • Guest Count: Final guest count must be confirmed at least 5 days before the event. Charges will be based on this final count. 

6. Services Provided 

  • Staffing: The cost includes [number] staff members for [number] hours. Additional staff and hours will be charged at $80 for waitstaff and $125 for Chef Julien. 

  • Equipment: Prices include the use of standard equipment. Special equipment requests will incur additional charges. 

  • Dietary Requirements: We cater to dietary requirements if notified at least 5 days in advance. 

7. Liability 

  • Client's Responsibility: The client is responsible for ensuring the venue complies with all health and safety regulations. 

  • Damage: Any damage to the venue or our equipment caused by the client or guests will be billed to the client. 

8. Force Majeure 

  • We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service. 

9. Governing Law 

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of NSW and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia NSW.
